Hello! I’m Maya, I photograph design-led wedding celebrations from large multi-day events to intimate private home gatherings of couples who are madly in love. Originally from the vibrant islands of the Philippines, I currently reside in my adopted home in a quaint Provençal town with my husband Lénaïc, our son Ash, and our favourite English doggo Juju.
Constantly inspired by the burning desire to travel with deep admiration for nature, culture, and architecture - I have built a good balance with my style between capturing raw emotions and genuine moments, refined details and lifestyle imagery, and well-composed, editorial-driven images.
I aim to be intentional in capturing the magic of real moments, and everything in between with an artful approach, kindling emotions that strive to create fine and timeless photographs. Above all, it is indispensable in my book to build genuine connections and offer unparalleled experiences to each of my couples. My work is often admired for its authenticity, understated elegance, tasteful candids, and dreamy yet realistic colors.
I have been capturing beautiful wedding celebrations professionally for almost a decade and have been so lucky to have worked across the globe in places like Italy, Portugal, Bali, Seoul, the Philippines, and Hong Kong.
Both of my weddings & lifestyle work have been published in print by Gestalten Publishing, and digitally by Vogue, Condé Nast BRIDES, Vogue Living Australia, Over the Moon, and Style Me Pretty.
I photograph all events using professional digital Leica camera bodies and Leica prime optical lenses.
